Concentric is the International Festival of Architecture and Design of Logroño that proposes annually to reflect on the urban environment and the city. In 2019, it was held from April 26 to May 1.
The Festival invites you to rediscover the city through installations, exhibitions, meetings, activities and performances that create a connection between the venues, squares, streets, patios and hidden spaces that usually go unnoticed in your day to day.
Concentric branding was conceived from its first edition as a graphic system around which to experiment. The visual identity of the festival has always revolved around a series of fixed elements, creating variants of the same system without losing the formal coherence or the identity of the festival.
Common elements in all editions (color palette based on fluor shades, extrudable elements and in-line projections, and Helvetica typeface) are recomposed year after year to build the identity of each edition in addition to geometric shapes with different layers that create volume.
The plan is one of the most iconic applications of the festival, condensing all the information about it, linking the city and design in a single format: a large graphic piece that breaks simple use and serves as an editorial extension of the festival. A piece with which to interact creatively and educationally through the activities program that surprises the user with complicity.
The brand structure built from these fixed premises allows us to explore the possibilities of its graphic resources, creating a recognizable and variable identity, which evolves with each edition.
In addition to the elements of physical communication, the festival takes great care of dissemination through networks, with careful photography applied to the digital format.
